One way or another, it seemed like a great idea at the time. It was unusual but attractive, and there were a few different ways I could wear it based off of what was already in my wardrobe. From the time I ordered it, I began to doubt myself, thinking perhaps it was too strange.
Well, when it came in the mail, it was a trainwreck. I don't know how much of this is because of its construction, or how much of it is my body simply not agreeing with the design, but what I saw in the mirror was a frumpy mess with a collar that wouldn't stay in place for anything. Seriously, the collar was a big problem: if I bent over, everyone in the room would get a free show.
So tonight, I went to an actual store location and collected a nice chunk of credit for it, which I immediately spent on this skirt I'd been eyeing:

This picture does not do it justice. I am absolutely in love with this skirt, and I want to wear it as soon as possible - but I'm afraid to set a stressful precedent of dressing too nicely at school! And the wonderful thing is, I own at least 3-4 pairs of shoes that will match it perfectly.
I also picked up a plain black t-shirt like I've been needing for a while, leaving a useless $1.70 on my store credit card. However, I don't think anyone wants to see a picture of that. :)
